Wine-making
process: After thorough grape-picking
by hand in order to choose the healthiest
bunches of grapes, these are all placed
to wither in 2-kg crates for 3 months. When
the adequate sugar concentration is obtained,
the grapes are gently pressed and put into
small French oak barrels to ferment. They
are left to mature on the yeast for around
one year.
Color: Deep yellow with a golden
light.
Bouquet: The glass give off an intense
scent of dry fruit , such as apricot, fig,
raisins, citrus and honey.
Flavor: In your mouth the taste is
enveloping, suave, velvety but never cloying
thanks to the delicate remaining acidity.
How to serve it: Serve it at 12/
14° C in dessert wine glasses.
Alcohol: 14,5 % vol.
What to savor it with: Fruit tarts,
dry confectionery, Catalan cream, average-ripening
cheese and marbled cheese, which can also
be tasted with fresh fruit, fruit preserves
or honey.
Useful information: Bachiccio originates
from the will to produce an end-of-meal
wine that makes this moment special in order
to be appreciated by those who wish to enjoy
a good dessert wine together with a slice
of cake or some cheese and by those who
wish to enjoy a meditation wine combined,
for example, with a good toscano cogar.
Owing to this peculiarity, Bachiccio joins
varieties rich in flavors and acidity that
result in a kind of nectar that never quenches
your thirst for savoring it and can beautifully
conclude any meal. |
