Wine-making
process: The grapes, hand-gathered around
the beginning of September, are separated
from their stalks and gently pressed. After
settling, the must ferments at a checked
temperature. It mellows on the fine dregs
for about 4 months: No malolactic fermentation
takes place.
Color: Deep pale yellow.
Bouquet: The fragrance reminds vanilla,
roses and lime flowers.
Flavor: It tastes elegant, aromatic,
full and robust with bitter-almond nuances.
How to serve it: Serve it at 10-12°C
in white wine glasses.
What to savor it with: Excellent
with tasty starters ( salami and cured meats),
grilled fish and shellfish, savory cheese
and as a very pleasant, tasty aperitif.
Useful information: Rose-skinned
vine which gives intense, full-bodied wines,
it was already known in the town of Termeno
in Alto Adige in 1,000. From it derives
the most popular Gewurtztraminer, with lichee
and rose flavors. Traminer Villa Brunesca,
which has been grown in our firm for about
twenty years, thanks to the clonal selection,
most suitable for the soil quality and climate,
is characterized by the intact, original
flavor, with a concentration that makes
it elegant but never too mellow. |
